WENGLER WINS IN HOCKENHEIM! Following a tough race in Austria, Jacques bounced back in style taking a magnificent maiden win!

Starting from 4th, Jacques quickly dispensed James Sadler before attempting to hunt down Sander Kallas from Trines NetRex. On lap 9 the pair went wheel to wheel but it was Kallas who clung on to the position.

A good call from Jacques and race engineer Joe Ethier saw the #29 car come out in front of Kallas despite staying out longer.

From there, Jacques came out in relatively free air with some gap back to Sadler and Kallas. This stint was crucial as it allowed Jacques to get ahead of both Adrian Falcon and Jeroen Kweekel once the GhostSpeed Racing Team cars had made their final stops. From their Jacques managed his tyres perfectly, with the battle between Falcon and Kweekel giving the Luxembourg driver some breathing room.
